An indie outfit treading the same musical grounds as bands like Wilco, Bright Eyes or Sparklehorse, Saïbu blend folk, pop and rock heritage to create its own sound and atmosphere.
The band, led by Victor Pavy, has been through many lineup changes, until finally finding the right balance.
After two E Ps and "Golden summer", released as a single in 2006, Saibu is gathering attention from the music press by the day.
In this time they have also become a solid live act, and have successfully supported french cult band(s) Tanger and Syd Matters as well as US indie icons Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Yo La Tengo.
The new single "Fingers From The Swamp", a prewiew of the band’s first L.P to be released this summer, is now available.
